The United States of America Times, published as USA Times, is an independent American daily. We report on national politics, the economy, business, the courts, culture and sport, from Washington to the coasts.
Our Mission
We publish clear, verifiable reporting for readers who want to understand what happened and why it matters. Every article carries a named author, a publication date, and sources a reader can check.
Where a story turns on a number, we say where the number came from in the same sentence as the number itself, and we link the filing, release, dataset or docket it was taken from wherever one exists. Where we have done our own calculation, we say so, state the method, and give the denominator and the period, so that a reader who disagrees with the result can reproduce it and find the point where we differ.

Corrections
We correct errors of fact promptly and note the correction on the article itself rather than quietly amending it. If you believe we have got something wrong, write to us with the article and the specific claim, and we will check it against the source and tell you what we find either way.
